project description: The concept of this cellar was driven by the fact that the clients are in the excavation business. We created a “mineshaft” cellar for them built completely underground. This is another example of a two- room design, with a large tasting room in the front of the cellar and temperature-controlled bottle storage in the “shaft.” The mural at the back of the cellar suggests that the tunnel continues deep into the hillside.
